Celebrate October with these Sweet Warrior 20 Recipes

Here at Training For Warriors, we believe in smart, progressive training, mindset coaching, and of course - a solid nutrition plan.  We also believe it needs to be simple, which is why we follow The Warrior 20, a list of nutrient-rich, explode-on-your-taste-buds foods that will give better health and more energy to go out and crush this "life thing."

What is the easiest way to integrate the Warrior 20 (or any new food for that matter) into your eating plan?  One of the best ways is to try new recipes that incorporate the different foods you're looking to add, and VOILA!

Every month we are going to feature a few recipes that highlight some of the foods on the Warrior 20 List.  We'll shoot for meals that kids will hopefully like as well. Give them a try and then tell us what you think!

We are putting a sweet spin on October with these tasty sweet potato recipes.  Sweet potatoes are among our favorite Warrior 20 foods because of the multitude of things you can do with them, as well as the numerous health benefits.  Sweet potatoes are rich in antioxidants such as beta-carotene, alpha-tocopherol and ascorbic acid which have been shown, when consumed consistently, to ward off diseases like cancer and protect against the effects of aging.
